KIFA Advisory Board

 

The Kangaroo Island Futures Authority is overseen by an Advisory Board led by Raymond Spencer, Chair of the Economic Development Board. The Advisory Board provides advice to Deputy Premier, Hon John Rau.

 

The Advisory Board provides advice on the development and implementation of an integrated plan to improve social and economic outcomes for Kangaroo Island residents, while at the same time preserving the quality of an internationally recognised tourism asset.

Raymond Spencer is an investor and advisor to a number of start-up companies and venture funds in Australia and the US.  He is Chairman of the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) and the South Australian Economic Development Board.

Jane Jeffreys

Jane Jeffreys is an experienced company director and Managing Director of Jane Jeffreys Consulting, a successful management consulting firm based in Adelaide, South Australia. Jane works principally with Boards and senior executives in addressing issues of strategic relevance to the success of their organisation. Jane is Chair of The SA Tourism Commission and Chair of the Adelaide Convention Centre.

Craig Wickham

Craig Wickham is a Kangaroo Island local business owner with long history of involvement with the tourism industry and community service through industry groups, Kangaroo Island Council and a series of National and State Boards. Craig currently chairs the Kangaroo Island National Landscapes committee and Development Assessment Panel.

Justin Harman

Justin Harman is currently the Chair of Good Food Kangaroo Island, Deputy Chair of the Regional Food Industry Association and a member of the Kangaroo Island Bushfire Management Committee.

Jayne Bates

Jayne Bates has lived on Kangaroo Island for most of her life and has been Mayor of the Island for the past six years. Jayne has a driving passion for sustainable communities and has experience as a member of many Boards at both local and State level.

Jim Hallion is the Chief Executive of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet. He is currently a member of the Infrastructure Australia Council, Chair of the ICT Board and Senior Management Council and member of the PPP steering committee for the new Royal Adelaide Hospital.
